Hi, I’m Liz, the owner of Pups-N-Motion in New Hampshire. I’m a long time New Englander that always needs to be busy doing something. I live in New Hampshire with my husband, Russ, and two dogs, Jax & Stella.
Before making the leap into Pups-N-Motion I worked 40yrs in the aerospace defense industry, starting my career as a software engineer, transitioning to hands-on techie during the tech boom and then late-career as a project manager where my organizational skills were put to the test on all things big and small. I’ve always loved tackling problems and challenges, the bigger the better.
In 2022, after three years of juggling both jobs, I made the move into self-employment. 5 years all-in and life has been nothing short of a dream. Sure, working with pups and getting them to sleep through the night isn't for the faint of heart, but for me right now in life—helping a pup get a head-start to being a confident and loyal companion is well worth the dog treats. I get to work with clients and their most precious new family members. Does it get any more pawsitive than that?
Thinking back to training sessions with my own dogs, as well as my first professional training session, I remember being immediately fixated on obedience & control. Fast-forward 10+yrs, I am currently a student of the prestigious Victoria Stilwell Academy for Dog Training and Behavior, a registered AKC CGC Evaluator, a certified Family Dog Mediator (FDM), as well as maintaining active memberships in: Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT), International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC), and International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP). While attending training classes, industry leading conferences, having reach back to world class trainers, and countless hours of experiential learning, my technique has shifted towards building a more well-balanced pup through building connections, trust, and positive reinforcements.
Pups-N-Motion is located in Merrimack, NH and can easily support clients from Southern NH to the Seacoast, Boston and Greater Boston areas, as well as Cape Cod.

Gus learned to sit, come, started to learn his name, and—most amazingly—learned to sleep through the night! …….Liz is very professional, passionate and dedicated to the pups she trains—including after pickup-up day.
